Fics like The Reason

Just as Belle is about to banish Rumple from Storybrooke, she has an attack of mercy and love, and stops herself. So instead, she sentences Rumple to solitary confinement in her old cell in the Asylum. Six Weeks Later and with no success in finding a way to release the fairies from the Hat, Belle and the others have no choice but to seek Rumplestiltskin’s help. Rumple’s assistance, and helping them defeat the Chernabog, earns him parole and enough goodwill for Belle to give him one last chance to redeem himself. If he fails, then, as sanctioned by the Heroes, she will share his fate as punishment for not finishing the job that night at the town line. With the arrival of the Queens of Darkness, the Dark One growing ever stronger and the illusive Author the only way to reverse the process, Rumple and Belle must fight to save his soul, to save their marriage… to save their Happy Ending.
