Fics like Bomberman Shiro

Shiro Bakudan appears to be an ordinary man living a normal, everyday life as a husband and father of two children, and is part of a successful toy company. But he has something that's hidden from the public eye: His past. Everything changes when his old adversaries decide to show up on Planet Earth, wanting to cause harm to his family and countless humans who live in this world. To protect his family, the human race, and even Bomberkind, Shiro has no other choice but to resume his duties as the bomb-toting superhero, Bomberman. A Superhero AU that features the concept of reality meeting fiction, and revisiting the idea of Bomberman himself as a human being. This story is inspired by the NES Bomberman game's plotline where he wants to escape from the underground maze to become human. Also inspired by superhero shows like Power Rangers/Super Sentai and Ultraman, and films such as Hook, Last Action Hero, and the live action Super Mario Bros. and Sonic the Hedgehog movies.
