Fics like Tomorrow's End

Someone, something, in the universe is bored. And don't the most interesting things happen when you're bored? - "Jim wishes he could do something about the eyes of respective disappointment and superiority that melt into his back, watching him walk away. Jim wishes that he didn’t run away from that fucking town square, and that he died with his aunt in the mud in the last place he felt any happiness. He wishes that his mother never fell for his stupid human father, who’s legacy he can’t seem to match up to." ~ Cue a reimagining of Jim Kirk, Spock, Vulcans, and the events of the first movie. Lot's of pining, dumbassery, and angst (with a happy ending of course).
