Fics like The Foundation of Hell

A re-imagining of Hell via Milton's Paradise Lost, using my favourite characters from Good Omens. No knowledge of either work is particularly necessary. The Fall from Heaven was bad enough, but the ongoing foundation of Hell is both bloody and highly political. Hastur is forced into a pivotal position in Satan's struggle for leadership, and his scheming second, Beelzebub, intends to use him to full advantage for zir own power grab. Ligur tries to protect 'his' Hastur and their relationship develops after the memory loss that came with Hastur's Fall. Meanwhile up in Heaven/Eden all is not well, as Gabriel fights his corner and Hell do their best to make some trouble. Demon O/Cs all over the place and lots of politics and political allegory - sinister plots, violent actions, and general skulduggery. A little about relationships, but no smut and the focus is more visceral and political than anything else. This is kind of set in the same world as my stories: 'Twelve Years Ago' and 'Hell of A Game' - but is a different sort of story set well before either and is entirely stand-alone. I'm indulging my worldbuilding side here quite a lot.
