Fics like a lotus, blooming in wait

There are things Lan Jingyi might never know about Hanguang Jun, but he knows this : Hanguang Jun keeps the photo of a man close to his heart, the edges soft and worn, flinches at the scent of lotus blooms, and refuses every omega offered to him in marriage proposals and desperate bids for favors alike. There are things Wei Sizhui might never unearth beneath his a-niang’s unwavering smiles, but he knows this : His a-niang has a painting of a man with Sizhui’s eyes, cries at the scent of sandalwood, and runs away from every alpha that lays their hearts at his feet. And then, Baoshan Sanren surprises the underworld by offering the hand of her omega grandson and heir to whoever she deems worthy.
