Fics like a gun to his head (and he bares his teeth)
In a world is riddled with monsters, Izuku Midoriya is the Titan; he is an eldritch horror rippled in lake waters, lurking in its depths, his home the descent. Instead of a beating, bleeding heart, what sits in his chest is a stone and tar. In a world riddled with victims, Izuku Midoriya's the Harlequin of Jokers; he is fated to ridicule, discrimination, and torment, promised grief and pity, driving himself to cessation from madness. It is by the hands of those monsters he lives amongst—by his own monstrous hands, too. Look at him, the star of the pity party, the worst of the worst. The final hostage, with a gun to his head, a knife to his throat, and a smile made of teeth. Death's favourite child. Be an audience member to the show of this bastardised runt, and watch him unravel. (Will he learn to live before surviving draws his last breath?) ✑✑✑ Izuku’s cynical, sarcastic and tired. My Hero Academia if Izuku stayed quirkless. A rewrite.
