Fics like every day every hour turn that pain into power

"Woah, woah, kid, hold- what the-" Sapnap tries to reach out and steady him, but Tommy pulls away. Negligent heroes, he thinks, feeling all disjointed. There are more people that need help. If they won't do anything about it, then he has to. "There's a kid," Tommy tries, voice hoarse. He can't tell if he's about to die or if he's just really new to this smoke inhalation thing. Surprisingly enough, the way his head is spinning isn't helping him figure it out. "He needs help." "Yeah," Sapnap says, sounding weird, his hands still held out like he wants to grip Tommy by the shoulders. "I'm looking at him." or, Tommy is a homeless sixteen year old vigilante- but he can't let these pro-heroes know that or else they'll lock him up or worse, send him back into the system. It's too bad they won't fucking leave him alone long enough to let him come up with a good cover story. All he wants to do is fight crime and figure out what the hell is going on with the new mass of missing kids, is that too much to ask?
