Fics like peter maximoff's incredibly short list of things he knows (and a very confused erik trying to figure out what the hell is going on)

Peter Maximoff knew one thing. He was fast. He knew that because oh my god everyone is so slow and why can't they speed up and he's running normally but the world is in slow motion and his hair is silver and what the hell is happening to him. He also knew he was always too slow. He knew that because oh my god she jumped and she's gone and she's gone forever and he's his father and he can't tell him and he needs to tell him and he's gone and he can't. Peter Maximoff was determined not to be late this time. So he was running full speed to Poland where his dad was because holy shit he's actually gonna do it he's actually gonna tell him. And suddenly he's there but his dad's not there and the house is empty and something's wrong something's wrong something's wrong. --Or-- Where Peter Maximoff saves a few lives, reveals his other biggest secret, and eventually tells Erik the truth. With a lot of angst, pain, trauma and sarcasm on the side. Slight AU where Apocalypse happened but without Erik
