Fics like Your Favorite Ragdoll

Noel can hear himself sounding almost apologetic as he says, “I don’t normally dress like this.” And the club goes silent. No, no it doesn’t, but it sure as fuck feels like it. Because Julian is looking at him now, and Noel thought he was making eye contact before, but clearly he was mistaken. Julian’s eyes snap toward him and then slide, slow and warm, from Noel’s eyes to his lips, detouring down his chest where the buttons on the dress still don’t fasten right, scanning over his hips and then all the way down the lines of his legs to his ratty, scuffed up trainers. The journey back up his body is, if anything, twice as slow and just as deliberate, and it feels like there’s an itch under Noel’s skin where Julian’s eyes have skated. When Julian’s finished looking, their eyes meet again, and the rope looped around Noel jerks tight. Julian’s lip curves up in a slight smirk, and he drops his cigarette into the ash tray without breaking the hold in his eyes. “Pity,” he says casually. “It’s a good look on you.”
