Fics like through a glass, darkly

In a trademark manipulative Murdoc Niccals PR move, Murdoc tactfully rewrites the narrative around Plastic Beach, smoothing it over, making it so the public forgets how bad it really was, how bad he'd really been. He makes 2D play along. They pull it off so well 2D knows that if he told the truth, not a single soul on earth would believe him. And he has to try and live, knowing that. - a meditation on 2D during phase four.
