Fics like Blood and Winter

“Mother,” The blonde witch to his right began, “If we string him up here, all that fresh man-blood will go to waste.” The redhead’s hook stopped an inch shy of his hand. She looked towards her mother, whose head was tilted in consideration. “Let us take him to the dungeon,” The blonde witch suggested. Ethan didn’t like the way her bloody lips split into a hungry smile as she went on, “Not a drop of that warm, wet, bright red blood will go to waste.” Or, Ethan’s search for Rose ends in captivity in the Castle Dimitrescu dungeons, locked up as blood cattle for the three daughters. What begins as a desperate bid for survival becomes something far more complicated – unlikely bonds forged, a family fracturing under decades of secrets, and the man who survived Dulvey unable to write off three bioweapons holding him prisoner. Ethan must decide how to navigate rescuing his daughter while caught in a complex family web of blood and death that puts the Bakers to shame. A character-driven Resident Evil Village AU spanning survival, captivity, recovery, and the stubborn, messy, unconventional shape of love and family arising from flawed people in extraordinary circumstances making choices they can live with.
