Goro only breaks off mid-sentence when the taxi begins pulling away from the curb without any prompt or directions; but when he catches the eye of the taxi driver in the rearview mirror, he swears. ‘What the fuck,’ he says, with feeling, ‘are you doing here?’ Akira, confused, twists around to see precisely what all the fuss is about—only to be met with the sheepish expression of one Takuto Maruki. ‘Oh.’ Maruki smiles. ‘It’s nice to see you again, Akira.’ A man and his arguing boyfriend get into a taxi. What follows next is one of the most awkward couples’ therapy sessions to ever occur—and not just because said boyfriend had once tried to kill their driver.
