Fics like Becoming

"Nervous?" Kirin smiles, palms bracketing Will’s shoulders as his protegee stands in front of the mirror, putting the final touches to his appearance before the winter solstice celebrations. Nuzzling Will’s hair, Kirin presses a kiss to the top of his head, trying to contain the pride at the sight of his proxy, his consort, looking so smart and self-assured. There’ll be time enough for pride and praise later, after the celebrations, and Will’s first true test against the sidhe court. Kirin has no doubt he’s going to do marvellously. (In which Kirin dresses Will up and introduces him to the Sidhe Court - properly, this time.)
