Fics like Flight Patterns
Growing up, learning to spread your wings and take flight. Everyone’s journey looks a little different. This is Blaine’s journey, loosely following the timeline starting with the 2x06 Teenage Dream Performance. In this episodic AU, Kurt and Blaine never dated (Kurt just imagined it all in his mind). Blaine is a kind, helpful, charming and talented young man on the cusp of something. But first, he must navigate the challenges of a rigorous academic school, the pressures of leading his various clubs to championships, his first boyfriend, and a home life that is far from idyllic - all while dealing with Kurt Hummel’s unhealthy infatuation, the crazy antics of his friends, some unexplainable weirdness within the walls of Dalton, and eventually meeting the obnoxious and frustratingly unforgettable Sebastian Smythe. This story deals with severe mental health issues, with a super slow burn Seblaine endgame, spanning several years. Despite a cameo or two, Sebastian won’t appear for awhile, so be patient. This is not Kurt or Klaine friendly.
