Fics like Fatty Tuna

The baby blue suit has been thrown into the hamper, even though it needs to be dry-cleaned. Clothes Higashi had left over years ago were still neatly hung up in the closet, and Higashi had eagerly changed into them. They now smell of Kaito’s aftershave and the faint scent of time: dust, mothballs. He must have worn them at some time. It doesn’t smell like the old aftershave. The very thought has him wanting to cling to them forever, gathering up the sweatshirt and pajama pants against his body, melting into them like a warm blanket, a lavender cloud in a sunlit sky.
