Fics like Ashes of Eden

Adrien moved his hands to let Plagg in, confused and scared all at once. “Tikki? Why aren’t you with Ladybug? What happened?” Watery green eyes looked past the sobbing kwami, only to lock onto the silver studs he donned the one and only time he became Mister Bug. The tears that built fell freely, and the color drained from his face at the implication. Both Marinette and Ladybug needed him and now he was being forced to choose between the two. “Tikki, please…” he whimpered. No sooner than the words left his mouth, his phone buzzed in his pocket in warning before the shrill shrieking of the akuma alarm blared in their ears. To Adrien, it was as deafening as the sound of his heart breaking. Considering Tikki’s presence, it could only mean one thing. The girl on the other side of Ladybug’s mask had fallen prey to Hawkmoth.
