Fics like Risking It All For That One Life

When Ruby found herself in this strange other world, she thought it meant relief, she thought it meant everyone was alive and okay. But they aren’t. Ruby takes the news about Penny about as well as you’d expect it, running off on her own and not processing any of it. However, she finds a deal offered to her; come to my world, fight monsters, and Penny will come back to life. Seems simple enough, right? Now she’s in another odd world, fighting creatures far worse than Grimm in her dreams and finding herself new friends in arms in a handful of teenagers in a similar plight. But as she gets closer and closer, she finds herself having to actually process through her own failings, her own pain and trauma… But she’s not doing it alone.
