“You— You’re acting odd, Dream, why are you acting odd? Has the prison gotten to you already? Has it made you all wonky in the head?” Dream huffed, “My head’s fine, Tommy, thanks. And I don’t know what you mean by that.” “You’re being weird.” “How weird?” “I don’t know, just… weird.” He looked Dream up and down. “You stand different and you laugh different, it’s freaky.” Whoever this Dream was that everyone here knew, he had more relationships than Dream ever had in his entire life combined. Whether that was a good or a bad thing remained to be seen. Or, an on-the-run Dream finds himself in the body of his alternate self. Then proceeds to get locked up. Great, his alternate self just had to be a bastard. (Meanwhile, said alternate self decides the best course of action is recruiting a familiar ally to help him get back. No way that could backfire.) (or, or, the fic where manhunt!Dream and dsmp!Dream swap places and no one is happy about it.)
