“You still haven’t given me a reason why I can’t wear the uniform this way,” Pansy’s fingers traced the edge of her bra as she spoke like the soft lace was incredibly interesting. She was trying to get a rise out of Hermione, and it worked. “I don’t need a reason, they’re the rules. I’d be happy to get you a copy of the dress code if you claim to be unfamiliar with it,” Hermione began to turn away, maybe if she couldn’t convince her to change she would need to get a professor. “So you just follow every rule without questioning it?” Pansy’s taunt stopped her in her tracks. Hermione turned and looked at Pansy’s mischievous expression. “I don’t, but certain rules like this one are in place to maintain a positive learning environment. As Head Girl, I need to enforce these rules.” “So I’m disrupting a positive learning environment. I see, my body prevents people from paying attention to their studies?” Pansy placed her hands on her hips. “When you show it off like that, yes,” she meant to scold her, but her words came out in a jumble of breath. Pansy smiled and stepped forward, eyes locking on Hermione’s, “Am I distracting you?”
