Fics like Of Choices and the Chosen

Stepping out of the transport ship, Obi-Wan quite literally had the wind knocked out of him as a strange four-limbed creature hurled themselves at him and began to squeeze the life out of the twenty-three year old. Flailing wildly, Obi-Wan caught sight of Qui-Gon, who was staring aghast at the scene, not sure what to make of it. Gripping the young… sentient being, who was yelling “He’s mine, he’s mine, he’s mine!” over and over again, Obi-Wan managed to hold it still enough to deduce that it was a small boy. “Uh…can I help you?” OR: In this universe, Padawans choose their Masters, so imagine Obi-Wan Kenobi's shock when a young boy who calls himself Anakin Skywalker all but attacks him in the Temple Hangar, declaring that Obi-Wan is his. Anakin's just making sure that his Master doesn't leave again. At least, not without him.
