Fics like Clarion Call

The sun is shining on the day that Jimin finishes his enlistment. The sky is a scorching blue, not a cloud in sight. It should make him feel happy. It should be a sign that life is going to get better from this point on. Instead, it feels oppressive. He squints into the sun and tries to remember the last time he felt truly happy. He shakes his head. He knows exactly the last time he felt that way. The problem is that it was so very long ago. And to remember that far back is just as painful as it is to face the immediate future: a long, empty stretch of uncertainty. ----- After BTS goes on hiatus, Jimin tries to keep what he has, but he ends up losing everything. Post-enlistment, he has to pick up the pieces of his old life, uncertain of who he is now or what he wants.
