Fics like A thousand miles away from the day that we started

After the events of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, in 1994, Remus Lupin went home and waited. He waited for more answers and he waited for the man who had been his most terrifying ghost for so long to come home. But when Sirius Black finally shows up at his doorstep there is too much pain and too many regrets between them. They need to be honest with each other before looking at what the future may hold for them. "None of them said a word, and none of them slept either. Remus just stroke Sirius’ hair with one of his hands while Sirius kept the other one between his own scarred hands, holding it as if his life depended on it. Maybe it does. Remus thought. It sure as hell feels like it does." ~ Inspired by the song "Still", by Niall Horan
