It starts because Eddie gets into a bar fight and wants to apologize to Buck with more than just words. And the thing about Buck is that he loves plants. Like, a stupid amount. Getting Buck flowers feels a little too obvious to Eddie, considering how he feels about his best friend, so he decides to try and be more subtle. And besides, Buck hates regular bouquets of flowers because they always die. So Eddie heads to the nursery. And it should be a one time thing, Eddie fucked up and this is his apology. Except Buck looks so goddamn happy when Eddie gives him the houseplant that Eddie can't exactly stop. So now Buck's apartment is basically a memorial garden to all of Eddie's mistakes. But it's fine, Eddie's fine. Right?
