Fics like Soulmarks AU "Hermitcraft"

It was the old cliche, ‘everyone spawns with their soulmark, no matter the server.’ What ‘they’ didn’t always tell you, was that some soulmarks came later. Sure, maybe your initial soulmark could help you find your ‘one true love’, or your forever family, or that one best friend that just understood you no matter what. But truth be told, most players found themselves with more than one soulmark over the course of their lives. Why wasn’t it common knowledge? Is it something that evolved with the worlds they inhabited, with the social relationships that came and went out of style, or even the updates and the mods that were created and downloaded and attracted new players? Regardless of the misconceptions or of the unspoken secrecy, most players eventually found their ways into where they belonged. Maybe only for a time, or maybe for forever, but the matching soulmarks were reassurance that they had found what they needed.
