Fics like On Kansas and Burc'yase

“This is Captain Steve Rogers and the Howling Commandos reporting in. The bombs have all been safely detonated, Schmidt is dead, and we’re about to turn this plane towards the nearest airport Stark can secure us. We have the Cube on board.” There was no way any of the Howling Commandos could have known. Known about the true purpose of the Cube or known about the turn their lives were about to take. The Tesseract throws the seven men on the Valkyrie through space and spits them out near yet another muddy battlefield. And to think that they had finally beaten HYDRA. Jaster Mereel doesn't know who these strange soldiers are, nor where they came from, but he does know that he owes their leader a lifedebt. To repay it, all he has to do is find their homeworld and bring them there. It can't be that hard, right?
