Fics like All in a day's work

Most crime fighters are heroes, superpowered people who were trained at a young age to beat the bad guys and serve the everyman, born and raised to protect and save the lives of those who couldn't defend themselves. Pretty much every kid wanted to grow up to be a hero, obviously. Fame, fortune, fighting, it was every tiny child's dream, but only a select few were allowed to become heroes, especially not powerless ones. And that was just Tommy's issue, he was powerless. It seemed that everyone around him had some sort of quirk or superpower that made them stronger, that gave them incredible abilities like no other, but Tommy, arguably the kid who wanted to be a hero the most, was left untouched by luck. But that didn't mean he couldn't help out. Far from it, in fact. Or... Tommy is a vigilante, kicking ass and fighting crime, but catches the attention of a few familiar faces.
