Fics like we're not very compatible

‘Do you really think I’m bad at kissing?’ The question comes out of nowhere and Yu’s first reaction is to laugh. But Zihong doesn’t break into giggles like he usually does when they share a joke. Yu is starting to realize that he’s actually expected to answer. With words. ‘Yeah well, you know we’re just-’ he moves his fingers to gesture between them to buy himself some time. Zihong looks at him serene but firm. Like he’s ready to stand here until Yu finishes, no matter how long it takes. ‘We’re just not that compatible, right?’ He finishes lamely. OR Zihong is hurt that Yu thinks he's not good at kissing but he's nothing if not proactive about making up for his deficiencies.
