Fics like Only You

50s/60s AU where Clay and George meet after both of their dates ditch them. They talk and share an intimate experience together, one they will surely never forget. After their night together, they struggle with confusing emotions as society doesn't allow them to be together, meeting and being torn apart almost too many times for their hearts to handle. But after all, love always does seem to find a way. --- “Well I love lots of things. I love my family, my best friend Sapnap, cats, the stars, beaches, hugs, music.. the colour blue.” “Blue? So now you’re stealing my favourite colour?” George said in a joking tone, looking down at Clay. Clay opened his eyes to look at George before saying “I’m not stealing it. You can’t steal a favourite colour George, people share them. Besides, blue isn’t even my favourite colour, it’s green.” “Why do you love the colour blue then?” “It reminds me of you.” Clay said it like it was the simplest thing in the world.
