Nolan is aware that he's being weird. He's super self aware about that. He just doesn't know how to stop doing it. TK slapped him on the back after a win against the Pens yesterday, half stripped down before his shower, the exact same slap he's given Nolan a hundred times before. And Nolan's balls had fucking pulsed. Just from that, a slap that sort of vaguely stung and was not at all sexy, in a room that literally smelled like years of Claude Giroux's ass sweat. So Nolan's being weird. Sue him.
