Fics like Life was like a box of chocolates

Extract: (( Daisuke could feel Haru's grip become tighter on his hand and he understood what Haru must be thinking right now. If he was burning with the desire to protect Haru right now, he was feeling the same way. This was how lovers' lived - incessantly worrying about the other as if it was you who was going through the troubles and dangers instead. Your heart beat in their chest, and their heart in yours, and that is how you knew when the other was hurting or was worried for you. They didn't need to say it, but both felt the tension in each other's bodies. )) Haru and Daisuke get wrapped into a mysterious case where Haru's ex-partner (a pretty girl with apple red hair) who quit the force under tragic circumstances returns, but this time as victim of a stalking case. As both boys try to solve the crisis, Haru unexpectedly becomes the target as well. The case gets even more complicated and the truth becomes harder to find... Will this ghost from Haru's past become a hindrance in his relationship with Daisuke or will it bring them even more closer?
