Fics like The Haunting of House Hargreeves

This is an AU mashup of The Haunting of Hill House (elements taken from both the book and the show) and The Umbrella Academy. Sometime in the 90s, seven children were in foster care, seven children all born on the same day but in no other way associated with one another. They had never met before, but it was their birthday that ultimately drew them all together for a four-year reign of terror. When they were twelve, they were collected from across the country by the eccentric and reclusive billionaire, Sir Reginald Hargreeves, an elderly gentleman with a mysterious history and a sprawling mansion. Doctor Grace Hargreeves and Doctor C. Pogo resided there with them, acting as assistants and confidants to Sir Reginald. What went on there left the children traumatized, but when they all receive a letter out of the blue, telling them that Sir Reginald has died, they have the chance to go back and get some recompense, and maybe some answers as well.
