Fics like A Gold Star in His Crown

The Silmarils have been stolen. So has Elrond, on the very same night, and the only trace left of those who took them is a note in Maglor's handwriting. Years later, after Elros has gone after his brother and never returned, Gil-Galad goes to reclaim his young kinsmen from their second captivity in Faerie. Arc 1, Gil-Galad: chapters 1-16 Flashback: chapters 17-21 Arc 1.5, Glorfindel and Others: chapters 22-28 Arc 2, Celebrían: chapters 25-35
