Fics like Got My Heart In Your Hands (like a time bomb ticking)

Some probes, Yeonwoo knows, love their monos. It’s an undeniable fact. Sometimes it’s romantic love, and sometimes it’s platonic, but love does happen. Some probes stay with their monos and love them and lead fulfilling, enriched lives, or even start families together. And sometimes probes stay with their monos out of duty, out of dedication, out of sympathy, or out of guilt. But mostly probes don’t stay with their monos. They don’t stay with the people who crave them constantly, and use them more as a fix for a junkie, than anything else. Probes don’t flourish in relationships with their monos, typically, and they rarely have healthy ones. Therefore, no matter what Yoohan says, no matter what flowery words come out of his mouth, Yeonwoo knows one day he'll be alone. His probe will leave him. After all, Yoohan is a star, and he’s going to shine brightly. He’s going to have a successful idol career, become rich and famous, marry someone beautiful and kind and perfect for him, and have the kind of life people only dream of. He isn’t going to risk everything for a mono.
