Fics like elf on the shelf

“Uh,” Namjoon starts, and the way Yoongi stares blankly at him is enough to make the anxiety in his chest grow by tenfold. “I can’t think right now. I’m sorry. I have…no thoughts? Is that a thing? You just dragged me over here with your sexy earrings and it was so hot I think my brain short-circuited. Oh fuck I’m talking out loud, aren’t I. In the children’s department no less. Why am I such a wreck, I knew my mother raising me to adulthood was a dire mistake—” There’s a snicker from behind him and Namjoon turns very slowly on his his heel to find another wide-eyed elf blinking back at him innocently. His dumb velvet hat and red striped uniform tells Namjoon he must be one of the poor part-timers who doesn’t get paid enough to deal with this shit. His nametag reads Jungkook, and for all intents and purposes, he looks like he works here. Namjoon has a dilemma. A big, fat, troublesome, very annoying, Santa elf related problem. Two Santa elves actually, his mind corrects.
