Fics like unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better (it's not)

Normally, Izuku really liked having math at the end of the day. Ectoplasm was a good teacher, thorough in explaining concepts, always modeled the exercises before letting the students try, always willing to help any student that was struggling or needed clarification. Izuku also found his Hero prosthetics fascinating, often doodling them in the margins of his notes and running quick calculations trying to figure out what exactly they were made from in order to be as maneuverable and sturdy as Ectoplasm needed for Heroics. Unfortunately, Izuku couldn’t focus on Ectoplasm or what they were learning in math today. His eyes flitted from the back of Bakugou’s head, to Iida diligently taking notes, to Todoroki and Uraraka nearby and seemingly absorbed in the lesson. It was fine, it was alright; no one was staring at him, so he must not smell too bad, right? No one could notice, right?
