Fics like Thanks for the Memories

Buffy beats up Angel after learning that he’s lied to her for years. Angel and Buffy had an Eternal Love. The Slayer never really examines that great truth, never really has the time. But after Sunnydale collapsed, taking her staunchest ally with it, Buffy finally has time to think, to deal, to accept. And when a memory spell brings back a twenty-four hour period that her perfect Angel stole from her, she bravely faces up to the truth about her Eternal Love. Six months after the Hellmouth closed, a furious Buffy storms into Wolfram and Hart to get back some of her own, never knowing how literal that can be. The story begins with a grieving Buffy and becomes progressively lighter (possibly giddy by the end).
