Fics like Up above candles on air flicker (oh, they flicker and they flow)

Some might say that the Christmas season is the perfect one for lovers. Established couples, people who are just getting together, or those who hide their true feelings, – it doesn’t matter, it’s the season of love, of revealing feelings and expressing them. You might get lucky and have the object of your affection return those affections. Or you might end up sitting at the counter of your favourite bar, downing shots of tequila like it’s nobody’s business. Whatever way it plays out for you, it’s always worth a chance. A shot in the dark. A leap of faith. You just have to be brave enough to do it. Taehyung, sadly, is not. or, alternatively, the one where Taehyung has been in love with his best friend for years, dealing with the pain of it being unrequited. This Christmas season, it gets harder and harder to ignore.
