Fics like The Eleventh Hour

The Doctor, freshly regenerated, is falling down to Earth, but instead of crash landing in Leadworth, 1996, he instead crashes in Hawkins, 1983. What does this change? Well... It doesn't count as kidnapping if the kid has no one else, does it? Written to be accessible for non-Doctor Who fans, so even if you haven't watched Doctor Who, please check it out.
