Fics like Silence

After four years, Zidane has returned - but not alone. A refugee in Alexandria Castle, Kuja hides in silence. He never moves, he never speaks, and Zidane won't tell anyone - even his wife - what happened. When Beatrix's patience runs dry, Zidane is forced to speak up or watch Kuja face inevitable justice. Zidane is the only one who can tell his brother's story, a story no one cared to hear until now. As it turns out, Kuja's story is nothing like anyone imagined. Zidane travels through a warped and twisted mind, hoping to find the light at the end of the tunnel. If he doesn't, he might find himself lost in the darkness forever. “I see the despair in your eyes. You are in pain – a pain you do not even understand. The agony consumes you. Do you enjoy this feeling? Do you enjoy suffering as the Gaians suffer? You have shown me that for all the benefits of your chaotic nature, you will never escape the damage that recoils back upon you.”
