Fics like Steven Universe: What Do You Believe?

What if Yellow Diamond had been a bit more proactive in helping Blue Diamond to recover from her grief? Why did White Diamond choose to isolate herself from the rest of Homeworld, and why did the Diamond Authority rule with tyranny? Come, reader and let us explore a tale of striving and sacrifice, of great victories and horrible losses as we dig down to the foundations of the characters that we know and love, all in a quest to find out what they truly believe. (Summary take 2, maybe I suck a little less at this??) (UPDATE 5/19/2024: FIC NOT ABANDONED. I am rewriting much of Arc 1 and Arc 2, as the narrative tense is honestly lacking. ARC 5 IS NEARING COMPLETION.) Special thanks to SETUP and Lumina_Landercast for initial feedback and constructive criticism on the (short lived) beta-reading period! PLEASE DO NOT SOLICIT FOR PAID COMIC WORK. I AM NOT INTERESTED IN PAYING TO HAVE MY WORK PUBLISHED. DO NOT SCRAPE THIS WORK FOR USE IN GENERATIVE AI/LLM ALGORITHMS.
