Fics like Strawberries and Cinnamon

His senses suddenly picked up something warm and sweet. It made him pause right on his tracks. The hairs on his arms and back of his neck stood up as the warmth washed over him, the scent of strawberries and chocolate invading his nostrils. It reminded him of the heat he would wrap around himself during the harsh cold of early winter as the holidays' smell filled the air. The cozy feeling of sitting on his couch and reading a book, wearing a wool sweater as the rain pitter-pattered on his windows and the thunder outside boomed like an angry God. Part of him wanted to bask in that feeling longer, but another part had snapped him out of his reverie when he felt eyes on him.
