Fics like Metamorphose, or: Changing from Within

Phosphophyllite—an aggregate of crystal, shell, gold, stone, and pearl—remembers being on Earth. They remember relishing in the destruction of all the gems, remember facing off with Cinnabar who betrayed them for a machine. Even though this is the case, when they awaken after that fight, they have woken up as the Phos from three hundred years ago. The Phos who had not yet lost themself nor anyone else. Still, they can't seem to forget.
