Have you ever wondered what colour is the Angel? White? For purity, faith and goodness. Or perhaps Gold? For warmth, kindness and benevolence. How about Blue, then? Hell-fire blue. The Angel with blue flames, as how the Brotherhood addresses her, paid the mortal realm a visit after millenniums years of indirectly managing from afar. Let’s just say she was not pleased with Raziel and his doing. So, she took matters into her own hands, and chose a successor for herself. *** Alec Lightwood found himself standing in the middle of an abandoned basement, covered in the gooey stench of Ravener blood. His hands dark-stained with demon ichor, shirt ripped, eyes hazy and brain barely functioning. A pair of wings flapped behind his back, gently letting the black liquid drip onto the concrete floor. A soft turquoise light glowed in the middle of darkness.
