Everything seemed to be over for Goro Akechi. The life he lived, the fame he enjoyed, gone in the face of defeat and the sins and murders he committed, born from his lies and hate and brought about by a life of being rejected, friendless, and used as a plaything by his own father and a malevolent god. But fate has given him a second chance, and now he finds himself in the realm of the forgotten, Gensokyo, where his crimes and past are unknown. Now, as he attempts to reinvent himself he must confront the troubles of his new friends and a force which threatens to drown humans and youkai alike in their worst instincts.
