Fics like Martyr

This poem by the fictionally terrifing & truly lovely nanjcsy, who encourages me and inspired me with her work- especially Your Own Personal Bully , helps set the tone. and here it is again. i am running away and the monster chases me. i always run in the end, i have to, because if i stay so i am running from him, running from me, i am always the prey, he is always the hunter and he always catches me if it were just him, i would want him to catch me but its the monster too and he will eat everything i am so i run faster because that is a bad thing but my body will slow down and betray me then my mind will think, yes just eat me he is so close now and i am so scared the trees try to knock me down and thorns scratch at me everything, even the wind is against me nothing wants to save me i run and i am so scared, so afraid, nothing wants to love me but what crashes behind me, i run harder, i am so scared, everything is against me oh please let him catch me
