Fics like The Journey of a Countrygirl

A modern day version of Sanditon. I'm going to try and stick to the storyline of the tv series as much as I can with modern variations. Things may not all happen in the correct order but hopefully it will turn out okay. Yes it's a fanfic but I decided part way in I wanted this story to be more real and develop the issues I had mentioned, and see how two people can still find love and strength together. Charlotte reveals through the story she has been involved in an emotional trauma for years by her father belittling her and that she was never good enough. After a visit to the farm, this forces her to confront all the years of holding it in, and it begins to affect her life as all of these put downs resurface. I've tried to write this as real as I can. It's a story of finding love and support through painful emotional trauma. Hope that explains it briefly.
