Fics like Nepotism, Probably

The Doctor left some loose ends hanging on Gallifrey after the events of Hell Bent. Luckily, he has a friend in Gallifreyan politics willing to clean up his messes. “I'm calling as a courtesy,” Romana said, voice icy, “my Lord President of Gallifrey.” “Oh?” said the Doctor, while Bill's brain scrambled to realign itself with the information that the Doctor was apparently President of multiple planets, for some godforsaken reason. He didn’t seem concerned with the fact that a very scary, very pretty, very angry woman was threatening him very politely, but that was a lot more normal. “Yes. If you don't get back here ten minutes ago and do your job, I'm staging a coup.”
