Fics like after

“Hey, Nori.” His voice is low and quiet, and he knows it’s stupid to hope for it, but he still holds his breath and waits for a reaction. Just, anything. A twitch of fingers or change in breathing or tilt of the head or fucking something he knows he’s not going to get. “Your parents are here,” he continues, well and truly unsure of what to say or do, not that it’s a change from how he is normally. He thinks Noriaki would probably think it’s very funny, watching him sit at his bedside talking to what is effectively a corpse. Don’t be morbid, Jotaro mentally kicks himself, which Nori would also undoubtedly laugh at him for. ... A collection of days in the aftermath of the crusade, in which Jotaro contends with his family, Noriaki's parents, and his own feelings.
