Fics like a fever you can't sweat out

the blinds are closed in the room, nothing but faint light sneaking through to illuminate the bulge of blankets over the bed. the rest—books, clothes, pillows—are thrown across the room, creating an impetuous mess. jeongguk steps over the threshold, the other’s name already on his lips when a sudden cry made him stop, forcing him to squint his eyes over the top of their bed. there's a high bump that shifts, and paying more attention to it, jeongguk realizes they’re not blankets. there's yoongi in the middle of the bed, his back arched and head thrown over as he breathes hard. his brow is creased tight and he’s slick with hot skin, grunting in what sounds like pain. suddenly jeongguk knows what this is—he can see the rapid stroke of his arm, the shake in his legs, the desperation in every move and breath. jeongguk's skin runs cold. “hyung.”
