Fics like “i love you, Gill Murray, but i still want my jumper back”

You start spending nearly all your time just looking at her, just drinking in the details of her face and hands and clothes and everything that is Her, all the Godzilla and the DCI Murray and the just Gill. Slowly, so slowly you don’t notice until it’s too late, your whole work day has become about making her smile, making her laugh, receiving praise, even just being noticed. You don’t want to admit the obvious.
